1962 – José Veloso Rito begun to learn on an artisitic accordion course with appraised the International accordion player, Assis Johnes. He concluded this particular course in 1970 with distinction and honor, interpreting the Czardas by Monti, Hungarian Dances of Brahms, Dance of the Sabre de Katchaturian etc., having acted in the Radio Commercial of the height (Festival) as accordion player, as well as in diverse competitions of accordion Spain and France. Waltz in the Parisian style, and popular music composed musics for artistic accordion nominated.

2004–2005 Veloso Rito realized many musician tours in Brazil as a guest piano solo player, having played in S. Paulo, Campo Grande and other brazilian cities, essentially dedicated to compose piano parts musicians… its great passion. He continues as a composer, composing piano part songs and playing to the public on social events, parties, commemorations, anniversaries, etc. also in the United States of America for the Portuguese communities hosted there. He publishes in general… composed a Hymn for the Society Memory of Portugal in the United States, of whom he is honorary member
2006 He composed some preludes for piano and ballads in the Iberian style, with their own romantic and rich, colorful polyphonic style with very proper style in mandate to its country. His family and friends with diverse subjects executed and recorded in his particular pianos: a Steinway of tail concert model, and a C.Bechstein entire tail model C. These pianos have a bonanza polyphonic quality and sound, where already other subjects of musicians and international pianists of career had been recorded. He recently edited a CD with his compositions entitled Fancies To The Piano, with musics nitidamente of Portuguese polyphonics in the diverse trips that efectuou for the Country and the World.
