Submit information about the music of Carl Czerny
Life
He was a student of Beethoven and taught Franz Liszt. He premiered Beethoven’s "Emperor Concerto" in 1812. He was a great concert pianist, but he was extreemly introverted, preferring to devote his life to teaching and composition. He wrote over a thousand major works and is considered the greatest exponent of piano pedagogy of all time.
