Music

Jean-Joseph Mouret wrote the famous fanfare theme used by the “Masterpiece Theater” show.

Life

Mouret was very spoiled by his contemporary public, and he was one of the worst enemies of Rameau. The jealousy took him to madness and he died in a mental hospital.
