In the “Neues Wirtshaus” (new inn), the old name of the hotel “Golden Angel”, Mozart is said to have met the poor harpist Josef Häusler (“Copánek”), who improvised so well that the composer provided him with a new theme, which the grateful man proudly showed to every music lover he met during the rest of his life.
