General

The Classical Composers Database welcomes your contributions of sound and image files. Below are some instructions on how to send me these files.

After receipt of the files, they will be considered for publication. If necessary they will be edited.

IMPORTANT: the files you send me should be in public domain or I must have written permission form the copyright holder(s) to publish them on the Classical Composers Database.

In case of copyright problems, files may be removed from the website.

Sound files

If you want to submit a sound file of a composition, you can send an e-mail to: <submit(at)classical-composers.org>. Attach the file(s) with the file(s) to that message.

I prefer one of the following sound file types: .mp3 or .ogg.

Make sure that the details of the composition and the name of the composer is clearly mentioned in the message.

You must also inform me of possible copyright issues.

Image files

Image files can be uploaded from the page where you want to add them. This can only be done on a composer page or on a MusicAtlas page.

First log in to the site, and then go to the page where you want to add the photo. There you will then find a form that allows you to upload the file.
