The complete archive of Louis Andriessen will move to the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel, Switzerland. All scores and related documents of the Amsterdam composer will become accessible to musicologists and others. The Paul Sacher Foundation also hosts the archives of many other composers, like Luciano Berio (who was Louis Andriessen's teacher) and Igor Stravinsky. Paul Sacher (1905–1999) was a conductor who became very rich after his marriage to a heir of the Hoffmann-La Roche medicine factory owner.
