Gershwin Prize awarded to McCartney

The U.S. Library of Congress has announced that this year's Gershwin Prize for Popular Song will be awarded to Sir Paul McCartney.

Both musicians are famous for the popular music they composed, but both also are known for their classical compositions. McCartney won the Classical Brit Award two years ago.
