Young Spanish violinist and newly appointed Baroque Band concertmaster Joan Plana directs the season finale concerts with music by Vivaldi, Albinoni, Valentini, Corelli and Tessarini. Born in Lleida, Catalunya, Plana is in demand on both sides of the Atlantic, performing with orchestras including the Handel and Haydn Society and the European Baroque Orchestra.
