Premiere performance of The Friendly Enemy, a new opera in musical form by Gary A. Edwards. The setting takes place from 1938 to 1948 in Eastern Europe. Mike & Barbara fall in love, court and get married. Then, Mike is drafted into the Army, as both fight for survival, are separated for years, and by virtue of their faith, love and courage eventually... well, come to the musical and find out the ending for yourself. Music covers genres from Eastern European, classical to pop. The event takes place Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 5 pm.
