Music

Efrem Zimbalist’s compositions include a violin concerto, the American Rhapsody and a tone poem called Daphnis and Chloe. He also wrote an opera Landara, which premiered in Philadelphia in 1956.

Life

The Russian-born American composer Efrem Zimbalist was considered one of the world’s great violinist in his days.
