Life

Was born in Pamplona (Spain) in 1958. His first contact with music came from the Choir "Escolanía Loyola", first as choir-member and later as acompanist at the organ and piano in this choir’s performances in Spain and in Europe. He has been a member of the "Pueri Cantores" Federation.

He then completed advanced studies in Piano, Music Theory and Composition, before beginning a full concert career and performing soloist with a number of Spanish orchestras. He was also called upon to be a jury member in Piano competitions. In 1991 he becomes Professor of Counterpoint, Fugue and Analysis in the "Pablo Sarasate" Conservatoire of Music in Pamplona (Spain).

As a composer he has received a wide range of premieres and especially in the field of Chamber music. He is published by the editors Boileau of Barcelona and by Alpuerto of Madrid.

He has been the focus of special concerts and his works have been performed in Europe, North America and South America. He is a member of the Performing Rights Society of Spain. His works are frequently heard on Spanish National Radio and Radio France, and has received regular premieres in Festivals and Contemporary Music Series, performed by eminent concert artists of the present day.
