Yang Yunhan is a Chinese composer of a traditional German style, although he is also influenced by Chinese music and Russian music, especially Glazunov’s. His major works includes:
- Symphony No.1
- Memory Suite for orchestra
- Glazunov, his Stories, opera
- The Great Monkey King, opera
- Kandinsky Variations for piano
Yang Yunhan was born in Hangzhou, China and spent his Childhood there. He studied computer instead of music in college. He is almost a self-taught composer despite some private lessons from some teachers in the Central Conservatory of Music.
