- Wyner's piano concerto won Pulitzer Prize
[posted 27 April 2006]Yehudi Wyner's Piano Concerto: "Chiavi in Mano" won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize in Music on 17 April 2006. Commissioned by the Boston Symphony for soloist Robert Levin, the one-movement work premiered on 17 February 2005, led by Robert Spano.

Life
Yehudi Wyner taught at Yale, Brandeis, Harvard and many other schools of music. He is married to Susan Davenny Wyner, marvelous mezzo soprano and conductor.
