Biography

Charles Wood was one of the fifty inaugural class members of the Royal College of Music. Later he taught at Selwyn college, Cambridge University, and then at Gonville and Caius college (Cambridge) and eventually as Professor of Music at Cambridge University. He was also co-founder of the Irish Folk Song Society.
