Phenomenon

I own 11 soundtrack recordings by John Williams. I am always astounded as to how he is able to effortlessly aternate between tonal and atonal textures (classic example being Close Encounters of the Third Kind), while still creating a musical representation of the film images. I'm hoping he still has enough for another masterpiece!

Film composer John Williams was elected Composers of the Year 2005 by the International Film Music Critics Association. His score for the film "Memoirs of a Geisha" also received the awards for "Best Original Motion Picture Score" and "Best Drama". [Source: www.musicfromthemovies.com]
