- English composer Graham Whettam dies
[posted 23 August 2007]A few weeks before his 80th birthday English composer Graham Whettam has died at his home.
He began composing when he was 16 years old. However, a spinal illness forced him to spend much of his time resting. Fortunately, recommandations from the Sheffield Cathedral organist and Sir Adrian Boult (the conductor) persuaded him to follow his vocation in music.
