Life
Pedro Vilarroig was born in Madrid in 1954. At the age of 19 he was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Music, in Madrid. He is also mining engineer by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, teaching Physics and Cosmology at the same university since 1980. He studied optical and acoustical waves, in a particular case, electronics and electroacoustics.
He founded a choir and a chamber orchestra, acting as their conductor during seven years. He was president of the Madrid Choral Federation and the Neotonal Spanish Composers Association. He is also the founder member and manager of the enterprise called Neotonarte, created in january (2008).
He has been awarded several times. He participated in competitions as a juror, with compulsory works. He has given lectures (in Spain and Costa Rica) and written books on physics and music.
