Music

Life

Jacob Vejslev began taking guitar lessons in 1966, and has since devoted his creative skills and abillities both in music and the arts. In 1978 he composed his first string quartet, and in 1982 began studying serious music theory like harmony, inversion and scale structure. He also contributed both as a musician and assistant in ballet shows staged by Joachim Holbæk at the Danish Royal Theatre. In 1992 Jacob moved to Namsos in Norway, and signed worldwide music publishing agreement with Warner Chappell. There he composed the trio for clarinet, violin and marimba, which deserves attention. Today Jacob is freelancing in Copenhagen as a fulltime composer and musician.
