Music

Works include the opera Barbara of Tisenhusen (1969) and The Parson of Reigi (1971); 10 symphonies (1934-1973); 2 violin concertos (1942, 1945), balalaika concerto (1964); Requiem for fallen Soldiers (1979); 2 violin sonatas.

Life

Conducted in Estonia 1931-1944 before settling in Sweden.
