Life
Composer and violinist. Probably pupil of Perti in Bologna. Played there in the orchestra of San Petronio (1686-1696). Then went to Vienna, where he was concertmeister at the court of the Margrave of Brandenburg (1697-1699). Returned to Bologna in 1701. With Corelli one of the most important composers in history of early concerto.
