Music

His most famous composition is his Romance for violin and orchestra. Listen to his two symphonies as well (the manuscript of a third one was burned by his wife as a punishment for his unfaithfulnes!).

Life

He was highly respected as a conductor in Denmark, where he lived most of his life.
