Music



Composer of almost 300 works in all media, including seven symphonies, six string quartets, numerous other orchestral and chamber works. Also a great deal of organ music, including about 150 chorale preludes and other hymn-related pieces and numerous choral pieces. Publishers include: Harold Flammer, Inc., H.W. Gray, AMSI, SELAH, Coburn Press, Associated.

Life

Taught at The Mannes College of Music, 1957-1989, chairman, Comp. Dept. for 15 years. Also taught at Yale, 1964-1966.
