The greatest living Composer

Valentin Silvestrov's music is simply brilliant! Always on the verge of silence.. Music full of echoes, unbelieveable subtile and lyrical song poems of the highest possible order!
His ECM New Series albums (already 7 thanks to the fantastic work of producer Manfred Eicher) are the greatest classical musical testimony of our time!
Just listen carefully to his "Sonata for Cello and Piano", "Postludium", "Metamusik" or his "Silent Songs" - it's simply breathtakingly beautiful!
