Biography

Ferenc Sebök is a wellknown artist painter in Belgium, France, and Hungary.

He is mentioned in specialized books like the Dictionary PIRON III, 2006, Art in Belgium or Bible de L’Art Singulier, Iconofolio, Le livre d’Art, 2008, and in the “Dictionnaire des Compositeurs de Belgique du Moyen-âge à nos jours”, 2006, Th. Levaux, Art in Belgium.

He took the way of symbolism and painted lot of Boards for Lodges.

Music: Sebök also composed masonic music, songs and sacred music. He composed a lot of trios and duos for strings with 4 levels: very easy — easy — medium — difficult.

He obtained successively three prizes with medals during composition contests (SONG EXPO Benelux international song and music festival 2001, 2002, and 2003), Midem 2001 (Cannes), his fantasy 18 was selected by SABAM (B) with collective CD for chosen composers.

He composed the imposed score fantasy 67 for the international violin Contest Henri Koch (B).

He teaches composition and plays with the Musica Aeterna string ensemble in Belgium.
