Life
German violinist and composer. He was the son of Karl Schröder, who also was his teacher. He also studied with A. Ritters in Magdeburg. In 1873 he founded an Institute of Music in Berlin. In 1885 he became a violin teacher at the Königliges Institut für Kirchenmusik (Royal Institue for Church Music).
