Life
Santiago Daniel Saitta was born in Buenos Aires on May 25th, 1980. He graduated with a degree in Music specializing in Composition, from Argentinian Catholic University, Faculty of Musical Arts and Sciences. There he studied composition with maestros Graciela Racini, Marta Lambertini and Julio Viera. He has composed chamber, orchestral and symphonic band music. He has also been involved in the making of film music.
As professor he is in charge of the “Twentieth Century Musical Languages” seminar, which is part of the Critic of Arts career at the National University Institute of Arts. At the same institution, he also is assistant professor of “Art History”, “Contemporary Art History” and “Argentinian and Latin American Art History”. He is assistant professor of “Sound Track Design” at the Image and Sound Design career, National University of Buenos Aires. He is professor of the same subject at Eliseo Subiela’s Professional Film School. He also gives personal lessons of piano, audio perception and musical theory.
