Ce musicien, fondateur de la société chorale, se consacre pendant 35 ans à l’éducation des élèves des écoles communales de Montauban. Compositeur, essentiellement de chours, mais aussi de romances, cantiques et messes. Il laisse une ouvre musicale importante dont on trouvera la liste dans les biographies citées en référence, et dont nous ne retiendrons ici que la célèbre La Mountalbaneso. Membre de l’académie de Montauban à partir de 1875, on lui doit deux intéressantes communications: Etude sur l’Orphéon (1882) et La Premier Concours: esquisse chorale (1889).

Deze musicus, oprichter van de koorsocieteit, wijdt zich gedurende 35 jaar aan de muzikale vorming van de leerlingen der gemeentelijke scholen van Montauban. Als componist, voornamelijk van koorwerken, maar ook van romantische muziek hoogliederen en missen, laat hij een belangrijk muzikaal oeuvre na waarvan men de lijst vindt in de als referentie aangehaalde biografiëen waarvan we hier slechts melding maken van het beroemde "La Mountalbaneso". Als lid van de academie van Montalban hebben we twee interessante werken aan hem te danken: Etude sur l’Orphéon (1882) en Le Premier Concours: esquisse chorale (1889).
