Life
Brian Sager was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and began piano studies at the age of three.
In college, Brian studied musical composition, linguistics, biochemistry, and molecular neurobiology, ultimately earning a B.S. in molecular biology. He earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Stanford University, where he studied composition and concurrently completed his first symphony. Upon graduation, Brian held a Whitney Fellowship at Harvard University, where he studied neurobiology and the biophysics of pattern formation while completing his second symphony.
Brian currently lives in the San Francisco bay area, where he continues to compose and produce new classical music.
