Music

Life

Rolón studied piano with Moritz Moszkowski, and later harmony and counterpoint with Nadia Boulanger, fugue with André Gédalge, and orchestration with with Paul Dukas at the Ecole Normale in Paris, France. In Mexico he founded a music school in Guadalajara. Director of the National Cons. of Music of Mexico, and chief of the music section of the Secretary of Education of Mexico, both in Mexico City. Worked as such the rest of his life.
