Ries Piano Score

Does anyone knows, how can we get the piano score, with the piano reduction for the orchestra?

Don't stop at the concertos ...

I bought the complete CPO symphonies when I saw them at too good a price to pass up, and I played them, one after another, into the small hours. I've not done that with any composer before.

Ries's compulsive magpie-ing and immitation can be annoying at times in the early symphonies, but he largely grows out of it in his later work and even in the early ones, the "magpie" does interesting things with what he's picks up!

So I looked for more of his stuff and bought the Naxos concertos. This time, I played them one CD a time, but enjoyed them. The best are even better than the symphonies (although others are perhaps not as good).

I've heard there's another CD expected in the Naxos series? I'm looking forward to it!

Ries Rules

I have been playing the Ries piano concertos released on Naxos. They are powerful works indebted to Beethoven but also highly original
