Music

The music of Wieslaw Rentowski has been performed at many international festivals and conferences in Europe, the United States and Canada. In 1988, he was awarded first prize in the National Competition for Young Composers in Poland. Numerous commissions, grants, and awards followed from the Polish Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts (Canada), the Kosciuszko Foundation (New York), the Louisiana Music Teachers Association, and the Dance Council of New Orleans, among others. Rentowski is also a virtuoso organist who is active as a performer/lecturer of contemporary organ music currently residing in Texas, USA. His works are available through Conners Publications.

Biography

Wieslaw V. Rentowski is currently the Music Theory and Applied music teacher for piano classes at W.W. Samuell High School in Dallas Texas.
