Biography
As a composer he is known primarily for his vocal music; as a scholar he is known for numerous studies of works from the entire range of modern music and as editor of the two volume Chormusik und Analyse (Mainz, 1983 and 1997). Poos lives in Berlin, where he taught at the Hochschule der Künste until 1994, and Seibersbach.
