The complete Sonatas op. 3 for flute traversiere et basso are published as Facsimile by "Studio per edizione scelte" (SPES) in Firenze, Italy.

Life

Platti was employed his whole life — from about 1725 on — in the service of the Prince Bishop of Schönborn in Würzburg. He was a versatile musician who played the oboe, violin, cello as well as singing and composing. His numerous works include harpsichord sonatas, flute sonatas and ricercati for violin and violoncello.
