Music

Her music is rooted in the Russian late romantic style. She finished 5 symphonies sofar, all of them are available on cd (Naxos). She also created many compositions for vocals.

The 1st symphony is a kind of “reminiscence of Russia” and is written for chamber orchestra. Her other symphonies also breath a russian atmosphere and are for full orchestra.

Her music takes as its inspiration the great Russian masters of the 20th century (Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Rachmaninov, etc.), and each of her works seem crossed by the topic of uprooting and exile.
