Students Together at R.C.M.
I am doing some research into Arthur's music and I have just aquired a copy of the score of Quintette for voice and string quartet from 1945. If you are 'Anonymous' above and you are reading this, please tell me your name and as much as you can about that performance! You can send me a private message, if you prefer to sospirobaroque (at)hotmail.co.uk
Thanks! RFB

Srudents together at R.C.M.

Arthur wrote a group of songs for voice(me) and string quartet which we performed at a chamber concert at R.C.M. in June 1945. Britton came to a rehearsal. A never to be forgotten experience. We lost a brilliant artist in the world of music.

St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral, Edinburgh

I was a bass in Arthur's Cathedral Choir in Edinburgh in 1965 for a year. It was an education and a great privilege. You can read my short history of the Cathedral Choir and its contribution to Scottish musical life at: http://www.stmaryscathedral.co.uk/choir.html
