Life

Proinnsías Ó Duinn studied and played the cello. He is a major conductor, living in Dublin. Ó Duinn is conductor of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra; Music Director and Principal Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Equador. Also Musical Director and Conductor of Our Lady’s Choral Society, Dublin.

n 2003 Proinnsías Ó Duinn was appointed Conductor Laureate of the RTE Concert Orchestra, Dublin after position as Principal conductor since 1978.
