Another great American composer

I think Colin O'Donohoe may be another great American composer, kind of a modern-day Aaron Copland.

Music

American composer O’Donohoe is most noted for his work in founding a Chinese Orchestra in Pittsburgh PA, New Moon Orchestra.

Colin O’Donohoe released two albums under the name “Donohoe”. The first entitled “Shi Jing: Ancient Book of Songs” fused ancient Chinese text with modern Western sounds. His second album “Songs of the Saints” utilized his skill at writing for choir, as well as writing for Cello, Bouzouki, flute, voice, and many other instruments.

Colin O’Donohoe has also worked with notable classical musicians such as some of the fine players of the Pittsburgh and Phoenix Symphonies. O’Donohoe has also worked with noted Turkish cellist Ozgur Elgun.
