Music

Maarten van Norden combines modern techniques for composition with elements from Jazz and Fusion. He wrote works for jazz bands, and classical ensembles.

Life

Van Norden started his musical carier with the "Willem Breuker Collectief" playing the Saxophone. He studied with Louis Andriessen and from 1994 with Martin Bresnick at Yale University.
