Life

German composer Rudolf Nelson is mainly known as a composer of operettas and light music. He worked as a cabaret performer. As such he sang his own songs, accompanying himself on the piano. He also toured Scandinavia.

He directed the “Chat Noir” cabaret in Berlin from 1907 till 1914.
