Amond his better works: Deux Etudes de Sonorité pour piano et orchestre: Antiphonie (1953), l’Etoile Noire (Tombeau de Borduas) (1961-1962), Froidure (1971), Radiance (1970-1972), Rythmologue (1970), and Lyre de Cristal (1985-1986)

Life

Canadian composer born in Montreal from a family of musicians. He pursued his career in Quebec but his works have been performed internationnaly, in China, Japan, United Stated to name a few. He actively promoted modern music.
