Music
He composed opera inserts, congratulation cantatas (Nel giorno natalizio, Theatral Festr), sepolcras, and other occasional musical compositions. The most paramount of his composing activities was, however, the opera "O puvodu Jaromerice" (About the Origins of Jaromerice) is the first opera written by Czech composer. Is preserved with both Italian and Czech text. The formal presentations of Míca’s opera symphonies are of a remarkable quality and are similar to prae-classical sonata types emerging at that time (Symphony in D major).
Life
F.V. Míca acted as conductor and composer for the music-loving Count Questenberk in Jaromerice.
