Life
Sandi studied violin with José Rocabruna, 1923-1930 and composition with Gustavo Campa and Estanislao Mejía, 1925-1931, at the National Cons. of Music of Mexico City. Conductor of the chorus of the National Cons. 1922-1935; in 1937he founded the Coro de Madrigalistas, which he conducted until 1965. Professor of music in primary schools, 1924-1932, and chief of the music section of the Ministry of Public Education, 1933-1965. Lives in Mexico City.
