Life
Vasco Mendonça is a Portuguese composer of mostly chamber, choral and vocal works that have been performed in Europe.
Mendonça studied composition with Christopher Bochmann at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa from 1998 till 2001 and there earned his BMus. He then studied composition with Theo Loevendie and Klaas de Vries at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam from 2002 til 2004, where he earned his MMus.
