Biography

Marc Achille Matthys studied at the Royal Conservatory Gent (Belgium). He is a pianist-composer, and has worked with and for I Fiamminghi, The National Orchestra of Belgium, The Royal Philharmonic of Flanders, Dirk Brossé, Neeme Järvi, Walter Boeykens, Toots Thielemans, etc.He is a board member of SABAM (1995–1999), professor at the Hogeschool-Gent, and director of the Conservatory of Kortrijk (Belgium).
