Life

Vincenc Mašek studied with Josef Seger and František Xaver Dušek. For some time he lived as traveling concert pianist. After that he became opera Kapellmeister and in 1794 he became organist in Prague. From 1802 he also had music shop.

He was brother of composer Pavel Mašek.
