Music

6 symphonies, 8 string quartets, 1 flute quartet - String Quartet in B major and Flute quartet in G major Op. 3 are recorded by Kwartet Wilanow and released by Acte Prealable AP0006; 5 masses, cantata to St. Caecilia, songs, piano works. Many of these works are lost.

Biography

Son of the musician - Wincenty - studied first with his father, in 1799 left for Vienna where he became Haydn’s student till 1809. After that he returned home and for the rest of his life stayed in Poland where he worked not only as a musician but also as a manager of properties.
