Besides his well-known works for guitar, Lauro wrote, among others:

"Cantaclaro", Choral Symphonic Poem for tenor, chorus and Orchestra. Composed 1948, premiered 1988 by the Orquesta Sinfonica Venezuela conducted by Felipe Izcaray
Giros Negroides (Black tunes) Premiered 1954 in Caracas by the Orquesta Sinfonica Venezuela conducted by the composer.
Misterio de Navidad, for narrator, soprano, chorus and Orchestra, written for a Christmas Radio Broadcast in the fifties.

Suite for piano solo

Biography

Lauro was also a well-known baritone, and he sang mostly oratorios: Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, and Antonio Estévez’s Cantata Criolla.
