Music
Besides his well-known works for guitar, Lauro wrote, among others:
- "Cantaclaro", Choral Symphonic Poem for tenor, chorus and Orchestra. Composed 1948, premiered 1988 by the Orquesta Sinfonica Venezuela conducted by Felipe Izcaray
- Giros Negroides (Black tunes) Premiered 1954 in Caracas by the Orquesta Sinfonica Venezuela conducted by the composer.
- Misterio de Navidad, for narrator, soprano, chorus and Orchestra, written for a Christmas Radio Broadcast in the fifties.
- Sonata for Guitar
- Suite for Guitar
- Suite for piano solo
- Diverse choral works a Capella:

- Viento
- Crepuscular

Biography
Lauro was also a well-known baritone, and he sang mostly oratorios: Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, and Antonio Estévez’s Cantata Criolla.
