Editorial Review:

Product Description:
The book contains many of the original compositions by Timothy Michael Kucij. He is a nationally known composer, organist and pianist. The music included in this publication are as follows: The Book of Hope, 25 orig. piano compostions in honor of the American Bicentennial (Chase, Compassion, Remembrance, A Familiar Song, A Place Somewhere, Yearning, Purity, Unrest, The Storm, Retrograde, The Pulsar Rag, Images, Persistence, Distress, Blue Fragrance, Afterthought, Nebulae, Then, Teardrops, The Bicentennial Rag, Hope, Paulina, Dazzling Fingers, Rainbows, Sunset), and others (The Little Toy March, Jesus Is The Answer, Oh Jesus, Reminisce, The Happy Whistler, Your Song, A Little Jingle, Wind Chimes, Piano Lesson #1, Frolic, The Butterfly Rag, Calvary Baptist Church Theme Song, Jesus Loves Me*, Over the Rainbow*). *These are piano arrangements by Timothy M. Kucij. The Book of Hope (included in its entirety) was respectfully dedicated to the late George Szell and the Magnificent Cleveland Orchestra. The composer has noted on one of the leading pages that there are no pedal makings in The Book of Hope. The Book generally utilizes the sustain pedal quite heavily. All of the pages are hand numbered in the upper-right-hand corner. A few of the pages include notes by the composer.
