Life

Otto Klemperer was one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century, conducting at Hamburg, Bremen, Strasbourg, Cologne, Wiesbaden and Berlin, Los Angeles Philharmonia, Budapest, Montreal, Philarmonia London. He was Jewish and left Germany when the Nazis came into power.
